Default E60 2008 - Changing front headlight bulbs

Lads, any advice welcome.

Is it only me or are front headlight bulbs the hardest thing to get in at to change out on the 5 series? not that I have big hands, but you would want very small palms to be able to change a bulb without a few bad words along the way. Seems like they don't leave enough space to change such a simple item.

Eg, on a newish Volvo S40, there is a release pin holding in the entire front light housing, remove the pin, and light unit comes out in your hand, replace the bulb hassle free, replace the from headlight unit, insert pin, job done, drive away.

If you take out the four torx bolts that hold in the headlamp then it's made a hell of a lot easier just like the S40

Here's a youtube vid of somebody upgrading there Angel eye bulbs and it shows how easy it is!

yeah they are a bitch to get at especially the 5w ones (if you have them for the halo rings that is). expect scratches.
don't even bother with the fogs if you got M sport you have to get under and remove covers beside wheels/inside bumper. ramp it up!

Cant say ive ever had any probs with e60 headlights, and ive pretty large hands and all. Are these the Projectors or something? I only have the reflectors in mine and their handy enough to work with.
