alrite lad bit of a strange one, in the last week or so the car has been very slugish , no power , feels like something holding the car back when drive'n. if i lift off the car slows down quicker than normal but out of gear and freewheel its fine, ticks over smooth, checked all round engine all hoses and conections seen fine, any ideas,

sounds like air flow metre pushing u back to me ,,,

That's what I'd say too but your probably better to take it in for a diagnostic check.

Definetly do a diagnostics to point you in the right direction as there's so many things it could be

recomend anywhere independant in the laois / kildare area to get it checked,

I'd just take it to Conlans in Rathangan mate. About 50 should cover a diagnostic check and you can decide what to do from there. That's what I do if I have an issue.

They diagnosed a faulty MAF for me and I ordered one from MAF-Shop.com, it saved me quite a few quid and I could put it in myself.

How bad is it? Is the car in limp mode, would it be the cat?
