Unhappy E46 Valvetronic internal fault (2A67)

Car (2005 316i) developed a problem last night with warning lights: check engine and EML coming on. Went into limp home mode. Brought it straight to mechanic and had a diagnostic which showed 2 codes:
2A67/2A6B Valvetronic internal fault.

I know that most likely that this unit will have to be replaced, does anyone have experience for this type of fault such as estimated cost/duration/approved garages around Limerick

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, Car is at BMW Specialist Clondrinagh Motor Centre on Ennis road, pretty sure Servomotor is what I was told what was faulty, also vacuum hose to be reconditioned, rocker cover gasket to be replaced as it was leaking slightly (had bought it already for planned service at end of month) and ignition coil also fecked.

Full service in 2 weeks time with all fluids replaced (brake/gearbox/oil/coolant), plugs, filters, anti roll bar links replaced.

Spending a bit more on the car this month than I planned but at least I will have peace of mind
