You can yeah. It's like your arm is giving birth to a blood clot the size of an egg.

Nah, the only thing you'll feel is boredom
You'll feel the needle go into your arm but you don't notice it after that.

Time to resurrect this thread at this time of year, 21 pints donated and I always feel as though they've taken a pint of my troubles too. If you're a monkey handler don't bother going!

I always got a good feeling from doing this.

Short of donating a kidney, there aren't many good things that you can do at zero cost or downside to yourself but this is one. Off topic, but in the same vein, people really should think about carrying a donor card too for the same reason.

Unfortunately, they won't take mine any more (not because of being a monkey handler ) but some proteins (or something ) in my blood was causing false positive results on their screening for some tropical virus or other, meaning they had to send it for full lab analysis, so it useless to them.

I was up to 30+ donations by then.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
