So, more like this

1) 2 bucket wash
2) De-tar
3) 2 bucket wash
4) Clay bar
5) Dry
6) Polish / wax

a good starter kit would be:

two cheap buckets
proper wash mitt
proper shampoo
clay
super resin polish
collinite wax
few microfibre towels
big microfibre drying towel
meguiars tyre gel
