Is it not down to how they essentially split the turbo in half, with the compressor up front, allowing cooler air to be ingested? If this is the case, then engine design is locked down for the rest of the season so they will be more powerful than other engines this season.

6 other cars besides merc on the grid with the exact same power unit... powertrain wise between the 8 cars the only thing thats in any way different is the gearbox & gear ratio's

also, there is a mid season change allowed this season

Sad day today, remembering Ayrton Senna on the 20th anniversary since his tragic death. I can still remember that day clearly. RIP

Good race today, delighted for Jules Bianchi & Marussia on getting their 1st points (about time too!!)
The only thing that soured the race was Hamiltons attitude. What a little bitch!! He needs a good smacking!!!

Great race alright.im loving the battle with lewis and nico its such a good season already but ya lewis's attitude is ridiculous he's acting like a child really there's no need for it.no1 will ever truely know if nico meant that or not so he should just get on with it.

i'm an alonso fan but between the mercedes boys(because it's surely gonna be one of them win the championship) i hope it's nico

lauda then admitting lewis used an engine mode in barcelona he was told not too so he could beat nico was interesting too.kind of cheeky out of lewis ta be whining if thats the case.can see both of them breaking a lot of team orders in the races to come it's gonna be great to watch

British GP this weekend, predictions?

I'll put my neck on the line with:

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Massa

Hamilton has to win this to pull back the gap to Rosberg. I think like Austria, the high speed Silverstone track will also suit the Williams.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
