Hi guys,

I just want to gauge interest in these as I am ordering in a batch of stuff next week. Manufacturers info is in italics below.

First - For those of you with scratchy windscreens, hazed plexiglass and dull headlights:

I had a chance to try this out while it was in development and its great. If you have a DA or Rotary, this is very good with firmer foam pads or even wool. It makes windscreens invisible! Good news is that it can also be used by hand!

CeriGlass is a special glass polish developed with the innovative special ceramic, Cerium Oxide. Most of the components used inside the mixture are inorganic nano components, for best and fast reaction.
The overwhelming effect of removing water spots attached on the glass-like scales .
Formulated with mild abrasives, CeriGlass deep cleans and polishes all glass surfaces with ease. It quickly removes acid rain spots, hard water spots, road film, stubborn bird stains, . CeriGlass is so effective, it even removes fine to medium scratches.
It leaves glass crystal clear and sparkling.
used by hand or machine.
Hand polishing pads provided for mild water spots removing, if you want to work efficiently and widespread severe water spots or light scratches, please work with a combination of glass polishing machine (Rotary or DA) and buffing glass pad.
when used with an orbital buffer this polish can remove surface scratching from glass which is caused by salt and road dust that binds to your windscreen wipers.

No need strong dissolving agents .
there is no damage to the skin like using such materials .
CeriGlass can also be used for metal chrome polishing with great gloss effect!

Second - A new Single System Polish: FIXER

No product photo yet, as it is literally just out of manufacturing. Again, I had a chance to give it a good trial and I do like this polish. It cuts better than 3M Fast Cut Plus but then you can switch down to the softer polishing and finishing pads and it will give a flawless finish without holograms. And because of this it excellent on hard german paint (softer Jap paint just needs a slightly different technique to finish down).

All the detailers around Europe and further who tested this found that it is up to 40% faster than other compounds and polishes by machine! I only tested it against the fastest compounds that I keep - P1 and Fast Cut Plus. Pitted against the clock, I got up to 20% faster in correction. :D

Its great with Rotary, Orbital Rotary and DA machines. But I also tested it against GTechniq P1 and Scholl Concepts S17 for hand-polishing and performed excellently.

The CarPro Fixer is a 1 step polish compound made for any kind of paint surface, freshly painted, soft,Hard and new ceramic scratch resistant paint. All can be polished fast, easy and without leaving holograms or swirl marks.

Fixer is capable of removing 1500~2000 grit sand scratches, surface scratches, marring and haze, compounding swirl marks, light swirls, and mild oxidation. The nano-fine finishing powders deliver a perfect finish with less passes and an unmatched wet mirror-like finish.

Fixer is the finest yet fastest one step polish that leaves the surface glowing with a perfect shine.

Fixer is not as ordinary common polish compounds, we have made the new generation in polish compounding using Nano components to make it very fast working and versatile as much as possible. Designed from scratch and formulated to deliver perfect results in less passes.

Fixer will remove 80-95% of all light/medium paint imperfections in less time (up to 40% less) delivering a perfect mirror-like showroom car finish.

100% Body Shop Safe (silicone/wax free) no fillers inside, Finishes like a showroom car.

Fixer will ensure permanent removal of sanding marks with best economical and professional clearcoat finish. ( 50ml per 8m2 )
It can also be used for plastic headlamp restoring and oxidation removing.

Features:

1. Very fast working time without filling surface pores.
2. Good for any type of car paint, soft to ceramic clearcoats.
3. Cutting from 1500~2000 to final finish surface.
4. Save working time up to 40%!
5. No fillers, No holograms, No powder dusting, No organic silicones
6. Economic- money saving, different polishes and pads for same application.
7. A versatile polish – good for DA machine or rotary polisher.
8. Body shop safe- no silicones/wax/polymers/Teflon used which only hide scratches.
9. Very low consumption use per each car polish.
10. Best Polish to use before Cquartz coating .
11. Good for hand polishing as well.

Hi Brian,
The Fixer Polish looks very interesting.

A question for you... I am a beginner, and thinking of getting the Kestrel DAS-6 Polisher. Would this Fixer Polish be a good place to start, are should I start on other products. Recommendations ? Maybe that Saturday morning tutorial would be a good idea too.

Thanks (again), MM.

Its great for DAS-6 or Meguiars DA, etc. Plus you only need one bottle instead of seperate polishes to get the job done.

Had another visitor today interested in the DA tutorial so I might get that scheduled in 2 or 3 weeks. I will let you know.

Just a quick note that Fixer and Ceriglass is in stock now.

Fixer is turning out to be an amazing polish. It is a single-stage polish, perfect for both DA and Rotary polishers but it is both fast and workable on damaged clearcoats with both machines. Best of all, there is NO DUST!!! Anybody who uses a rotary will know what that means straight away! ;)
