Hi folks

I'm looking to install and amp + sub (home made) in the trunk. It's going to be a large heavy box. Do you know of any recommended ways to secure the box to the car without drilling into the car?

I like the luggage strap idea. I haven't seen any fasterners in the boot though, I'll have to take a second look.

Is the Amp box made yet?

If not could it be made to fit snuggly between the arches?, or would that be too wide for an amp box. Or have the amp snuggly between the arches, amp in one side and storage in the other side of the box.

Hi Nigel,

The amp box is not made yet. I'm thinking of perhaps strapping the amp to the subwoofer box (hey, shorter cables!) and securing the suboofer box with luggage straps. It's going to be a big heavy box though. Good thing the batteery is in the back as well!
