4Series GC shows no signs it’s locked

Hi all, it’s my first time to post but I’ve just bought a 4series GC 2018 and when I lock the car with the remote it does not beep or flash to let me know it’s been locked or unlocked.
I’ve gone in to settings and the option box is ticked, so I unticked the box and went out of the menu and back in to it again and ticked the box but still no joy. I read on another forum about maybe one of the doors are open but I checked them all.
Any ideas or tips would be much appreciated…
