320d se 2008 pre facelift

Got stock prof radio [2door, 2 under seat, 2back speakers all wired direct to head unit - no amp].

Thinking about how to add subwoofer [any recommendations????], one with built in amp in the boot. Connect to battery is no problem.

To get audio do I..

a...connect to head unit
b...connect to woofers under seat
c...or easier, connect to back speakers

last possibility may not work because base frequencies could have been filtered out at under seat. if so i need to connect there...how to get wiring through back seats (mine dont fold).

opinions / links appreciated

Your puting an active sub in the boot. You need power, ground and does you original head unit have a remote lead? The only way through the back seat is to drill or as i did, go down through the speakers in the parcel shelf. If i had to do it again dont think i would. It was heartbreaking.

thanks - ill live with the bmw prof setup for now - until i get to know this car better
