Battery alarm. Advice needed?
Hi all
I am looking for a bit of advice with my Battery. I have a 2009 BMW 318D.
I am getting the yellow battery symbol flashing up on the dash when engine is turned off with keys in the ignition. I checked the battery charge via the OBC and it reads 14.5v when engine running and drops to 11.5V when stopped for a few minutes. Battery is a banner S61 21 7 575 327 90ah 900ccw. I think its an AGM.
I assume this means the battery is about to fail?
I'm not sure has the car IBS. How can I tell?
If I get a similar spec battery does it have to be registered?
