Been looking at taking the dive into v8 territory as lifes too short and I like my cars too much.
Even if its not long term ownership I need to get this out of my system,
Have driven a 645 and loved the power and the noise, but think the 650 is the way to go.
Will more than likely bring one in from the UK.
Was going to hold off another year or so and get a 635d or 335d but just cant escape the want for the v8.
Will be looking at 05 or 06 circa 100,000 miles, obviously with fsh and preferably work done e.g: oil leaks, gaskets, valve stem seals (If needed)
How do the 650i hold up in relation to the 645 (Valve stem seals, etc)
I know these are pretty big bills when they do go.
All comments or advice really appreciate.

Thanks

Not a BM but simply as an example of running costs, I bought a 2005 Merc CL500 2 years ago and this year it's cost
€5k in servicing
€5k in fuel
I'd make good friends with Valdas and ask him to advise on pitfalls

I had a 650 cabrio for two years no major issues bar the boot leaking and letting water in at some of the electronics that are housed in the boot not to expensive a fix under 1k.

The stem steals needed to be done as well so try and get one with this already done.
I went from a remapped 335i to a CLK 55 AMG to the BMW 650 and been honest the quickest car I felt was the 335i remapped that is a monster. 650 a beautiful car with the roof down and in great weather. Do not get a 645 imo it’s a pointless car with the 650 been there.

Before you decide test an M6 now that is on another level crazy performance and the V10 is simply beautiful.
