I dont think this in any way infringes on his livlihoodIf the builder in question posted on here i'd give them a right to a fair trial before potentially damaging his reputation and business. Site sponsor or not. You know well Eddie posts on here, to bring it to everbodys attention is definitely pot stirring. As for your implications that Eddie is a pal and I'm sticking up for him, untrue, I've never even met the guy. But I for one will withhold judgement until after his court case.
This is a case based on the use of the BMW logo...not on the quaility of this guys workmanship and therefore should not do anything but advertise his business for him, i mean if you had a choice between going to an indy or to a guy that BMW are suing becasue he's doing their work cheaper who would you go to....It'd be Eddie all day long for me anyway (if i didnt live 2hrs drive from him haha)
Also with the lads on here shooting down dealers i would have said this is a positive thread for his business
Possibly not a poitive situation with the court case and all but personally knowing BMW was suing someone for the use of their name would kinda make we want to use em more rather than less! I hate BMW garages they'd take the shirt off your back if they could!
And also this is a BMW website....and this is news concerning BMW that is already in the public domain....why do we not deserve to be informed of it as long as no deflammatory statements about the business are made (which they haven't)
