Will I have 1 05 X5 with factory sat nav, I have been reading that this is a pig to replace compared to the standard non Nav unit as the radio is actually in the boot?

Well I'm hoping I could swap the head unit out for a new chinese finest BMW style unit that will have bluetooth, my steering controls still work etc etc. Did it on my M3 last month and was a nice unit and easy swap.

My X5 doesn't have nav but I have an xtrons unit for it. Works with the steering controls and has a reverse camera too

Similar to what I fitted to the m3 then. Been reading the standard radios are no problem changing, just the factory Nav's cause problems as the wiring is different because the actual radio unit is in the boot
