I thought I'd create a thread in the DIY section for others for future reference if someone wanted to code them to their own car. Note these changes are to be made in the LMA module using NCS Expert, with the E90 you need to make these changes in the FRM module. Note, some of these changes are only possible for cars with a build date after 03/2007, but you can retrofit a new module to earlier cars if you really want the features.

Note: I have marked the setting I used with a star =*.

Thanks for putting this together.

2 remarks though

1. Many of those settings do not exist on the e89 branch, well they do, but have a different name. The fonction names you posted are only good for the E6x.

Example, the follow me home on the e89 branch FRM module is called: HEIMLEUCHTEN_ENABLE while it is called HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL on the E6x branch.

2. Quiet a few of those settings are non possible on LCI models on the e60 branch.
Take SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM in the CAS for instance, you can't enable that in there in the E6x LCI cars.

Hi Rebel just reading your LM1 - LM2 guide. Is it possible to upgrade to LM2 (probably upgrade to LCI taillights at the same time) but keep pre lci adaptive xenon headlights and still utilise the adaptive cornering system? Referring to a pre lci e60 here.
Cheers :)

I'm no expert in this but I would say that you'd have no issues going LM2 with your original headlights, the LM2 is the default replacement unit if the original went faulty & you had to go to the main dealer.
Just make sure you pick up the right module for Xenons & adaptive headlights. There are loads of part numbers for these modules that aren't listed on ETK so the best idea is to be sure to find out what the donor car had (Xenons, adaptive).
I would do that job first then treat the LCI rears as a stage 2 of the project. Then you'd just follow any of the DIY guides on fitting LCI rears in a pre-LCI car.
If the link for the guide above doesn't work here is an alternate location:
