I have a 318is with Eibach pro kit on the original mtech shocks.

While the handling is great and stiff i find it quite hard on uneven roads, potholes are quite harsh.

I have been looking at Bilstein B4's which are pretty much comparable with oem shocks with better quality.

I also looked at B8's but as a daily driver would they be too firm?

I have also read good things about the Koni FSD shock which seem to be the best of both worlds and dynamically adjust to road conditions although these are 3x the price of the B4's

For a daily driver would FSD's be overkill? Any advice appreciated.

I have Sachs/Boge dampers and Eibach ProKit springs fitted to my 318iS.
I find them to be quite comfortable

Hi Guys, sorry didn't notice the replies.

Yep i picked up some Bilstein B4's for cheap enough and Valdas fitted them. Im quit happy with them, as i said they are pretty much comparable with the stock Boge/Sachs with Bilstein quality.

I find slightly more roll in corners but its much improved on ramps etc which are everywhere near me.

The koni FSD's sound pretty good but would of been twice the price.

Upgrade your ARB bushings to polyurethane, that'll improve your rolling issue..
