2008 316i - Engine stops when driving
While Driving, the Auto Stop kicks in and the car cuts out. It can happen going around a corner. The only way to avoid it is is to keep the clutch engaged, so I am coasting around the corner.
Just like how the auto stop / starts works, when this happens if I engage the clutch, the car will start up again.
I was thinking if it may be possible to alter the sensor that is responsible for this, to have it tell the ECU that the clutch is always engaged. But I am not sure if such a thing can be done.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
