Hey, I was driving into town about an hour ago and the engine light came on in the E92.

As some know the car had the crankshaft replaced about a month ago- I've only done 200miles since, running it in easy.

M&G will take it today but said it depends if there's a car in it- I could be there 10mins or 2 hours. No thanks!!

Conor is off untill Monday in Scullys so that's a no go for today- anyone know anyone who has a diagnostic machine? Near malahide side of north dublin.

If you think it's important to get it fixed straight away I could head down to JD's but I'd rather not to be honest.

Thanks Brian.

Brian, bring it back to M&G and let them diagnose - a pain of a trek for you I know. I wouldn't involve another company without M&G getting a look at it first. I'd rather the folks who are familiar with your specific issue and the work already carried out on your car get to review first. Especially seeing as its warranty work, and most likely related in some way to the previous fault.

M&G will be fixing it, no doubt about that but sure i cant go over there for diagnostic if the lad on the phone says he might be leaving me sitting there for two hours because they might have a car put into the machine?? He wouldnt/couldnt give me a time to get it booked in for the diagnostic.

Hes got no courtesy cars for three weeks either.

The code relates to the exhaust gas before cat

"Flow too low before cat" either an airleak or a blockage. Does the car have a DPF?

You need someone with a proper tool that can read the DDE codes of your ecu (there are over 400 of them).
If you are in the Sandyford area tomorrow give me a bell and I read them for you while you wait.
