Have often browsed these threads in the past when considering a BMW.
Recently purchased my first, a project E34 Touring.

Hoping to learn a bit from here and post up any interesting or cool bits I find along the way.

Thanks for the welcome folks.
Here's the car as I received it.

Going for an OEM+ kinda look with it, going to do some cosmetic bits before we lose all light in the evenings and then get it in a shed for the winter and go at some mechanicals.

Welcome along. Whats thw story with the rear suspension in the last pic? Fully loaded was she? Was she hard to find? There dont seem to be many left rolling around let alone tourings.

Touring is a great buy

It came with a massive amount of spare parts including the original wheels, so was stuck to the road!
Tourings are great for big loads, who knew!

It handles like a particularly unruly freightliner though, so I'll be looking at stiffening it up big time over the winter.
