My brother in law is about to buy a honda accord (01) model. Can anyone point me to good forums and aftermarket styling and tuners websites for him? Checked out jspeed.net but they dont have much on the accord

The Irish/UK accord was only available to Ireland and England. So you won't get much in the way of styling or certain performance parts from America/Japan.

Probably the most notable kit for that model, is the Accord Type R bodykit, bolts straight on, so does the Accord Type R exhaust system and interior.

One of the guys over on Jspeed had a 2 litre Accord for about 6 months or so - fairly certain he had an induction kit fitted, as well as an OEM Type R exhaust. Was around 155BHP with that done iirc.

His name is Jeff - email address is jf_cole @ jspeed.net. He should be able to point you in the right direction. As Brian said though - Thumper is also an excellent point of contact, can get his hands on loads of goodies

Its not overly exciting - but will be reliable for its lifetime - no Nikasil or Vanos issues anyway :D. Set of alloys, and a slight drop and I think they look lovely.

Well Richie in Pro-Parts will get any shocks / springs he needs (Eibach etc). If he's going for high-end stuff, Tuning Factory in the JFK estate will get Mugen / Spoon stuff - but that would probably be overkill!! Their main mechanic was an engine builder for Honda, and BMW at one stage - so he's quite handy with the cars at this stage.
