Hello all, I was just hoping someone could help me with step by step instructions on how to use NCS Expert. My dream is to program my e39 door locks to auto lock when my car gets to 5 miles an hour.

On a more serious note ... Not knowing anything about NCS I wouldn be messing artound with it to be honest ....

1 wrong click of that mouse can turn your baby into a pile of junk sitting dead in your driveway...

But learning to use it.. can turn stuff on that ye didnt even know existed in your car ..

Im sure Our resident NCS Expert Rebel Ranter will be along shortly to tell ye what /what not to do .....

Useful function, have it coded on mine. But you literally have to tell passengers every time they get out of the car to pull the door handle twice or they'll just keep pulling !!! Either that or manually unlock the doors when your letting someone out.

I enabled that feature with EasyDIS (v44) - it's far more user-friendly than NCS and removes the risk associated with NCS if you're unfamiliar with it.

Richard, NCS is worth getting familiar with, very powerful. Plus most are no using DIS v57 which doesn't have the coding capability.

It's the only one I haven't put the effort in with Mark!

I never got around to updating to v57 myself, I also have Progman v32 up and running so I don't even need v44 anymore. But I'd like to make the move to NCS eventually, definitely seems like the most capable.
