Definitely follow this, ive a soft spot for these mini's, ill forever regret not getting the special edition JCW Cooper S instead of the E46, this is going to be a beast!
this is what i think... on the R53 up to 2006 the aerokit was designed by john cooper works but unless you got the 210BHP kit you did nt get the badges, i always called it the JCK kit. with this aerokit i get front bumper and the black grills, side skirts and rear bumper and those vent stickers. as for the original PLAN a few things have changed the wheels will now not be white too hard to match with other ideas... as far as the engine goes im going to get through the bodywork stage and then get some mech work done after.. the power upgrade will be down the road but not too farLooks good! You'll have to get some pics up!
What's the difference between the JCW Bodykit and the Aerokit? I thought there was just the Aerokit for the R53's and the JCW kit came out for the later models? The only diiference was that JCW grills were black? These are available for the R53 aerokit too though!
I'm curious to see how the black grills would look on electric blue with a white roof and white wheels though? At the same time white grills would look vom!
I thought you were gonna get the full engine upgrade too?
Sounds cool all the same - you need to start getting pics up!
i got them done by tallaght powder coating they look better in the flesh, i paid 360 also but that inc vat. painting might work out cheaperlooking good,
where did you get the wheels done? i have a set i need sprayed and tallaght powdercoating want 360. I can do better i think?![]()
