After the success of the mondello trackday i got the urge to track my E36. I will br going to the JTS show in Silverstone on the june bank holiday and i will be hoping to do a few laps.

The car as it stands is completly standard. I will be looking at handling mods and upgrading the brakes. So I'll be converting to rear discs and hoping to pick up some upgraded springs or even coilovers.

thanks guys. Oh the car is a standard E36 318i

Whats the intention going forward? springs, coilovers etc. will knock you back quite a few quid.... a set of slicks makes such a difference to any car on track vs road tyres and it won't cost you the earth. Just throwing it out there

You don't need rear discs. Get a set of decent pads, Id suggest Pagid carbon metallics (approx €200). Then get braided lines(€100) and replace brake fluid with race stuff (Castrol SRF €60/litre, 2 litres needed)

Go for best coilovers you can afford.
