does anyone know where the fuse is located for the cruise control have searched a few forums to no avail my cruise control doesn't knock on at all so i want to start with the fuse before i move onto pulling the car apart

there is a fuse guide like this one in the area above the glove box, there sould be a little tab that you can pull it out with:

Fuse 44 is the MFSW but there doesn't seem to be any fuse listed separately for cruise control. I have attached some info that might help with your trouble shooting.
Before any of that are you sure you have it turned on correctly? i.e. Click on (Green symbol illumnates on dash) then press "+" when you are at the speed you want. The CC symbol will resume your speed if you have to break for some reason.
