No not yet bart . Wont be for some time. And need tyres now after a few unplanned 360's in the wet  so will just stick with the current wheels for now.

How much u looking for the steering wheel John ?

Ordered 2 New tyres to replace the near bald ones on the back of the touring

went for Pirelli P7 Cinturato P7 Blue , supposidly the best available in this size

Not sure if good news or bad news . Spent the last while taking off the intake manifold . With the intention of removing the swirl flaps . . Covered in shite at the moment. Finally get it off and theres no swirl flaps in it . Someone has beat me to it . They are already removed and blanked off:shocked:

Have 6 swirl flap blanks here now if anyone is looking for them

Thing is the other option is the M-Sport steering wheel and I dont think it suits any of the rest of the car . It would look outta place . But yes phone mount has to go

Haha thought the same. I would just rip it out ta fuck.
I'm ok with the steering wheel. Not a lot needed if it's just a wagon for pottering around. Keep the money for the other beast

Best of luck with it. Any pics of the gaff? Must be massive going on the size of your garden!

Lovely car Davy. Well wear. Drove a 525d saloon some years back and found the engine a good bit smoother and more tuneful than that in the 530d.

Maybe you'd post back on the MPG when you've had a few good drives if you wouldn't mind? Been thinking of one of these to replace the work Astra.

Haha no not a stickler for autos . Just not a single manual estate for sale in ireland . Cheers lads ya im well happy with it and @Andy its really nice to drive in fairness . Very smooth and feels like a small car even though its quite large. Quite a change on the pocket to run aswell :biggrin1:
